High quality professional grade VIAAS cameras deliver great images in almost any situation. More importantly they are an integral part of the VIAAS service so you get real value from the video, not hours of wasted time.

Plug a VIAAS camera in and it automatically connects to the service and starts working, without network or camera configuration. VIAAS remotely manages and updates the cameras with ActiveSoftware so your camera is always up to date.

VIAAS cameras capture video when something happens, and ignore hours of nothing. For each video segment, object based motion tracking captures a key image. The image shows you what the video segment is about without even watching the video. We call the combination an IntelEvent™, and they are a key part of how VIAAS works.

IntelEvents™ make VIAAS fast and easy to use even over low bandwidth connections. Like thumbnails on your computer, you find what you are looking for by scanning small images. When you have narrowed your selection, you review the video with a single click.

VIAAS cameras also take advantage of IntelEvent. Instead of chewing up bandwidth sending multi-megabyte video clip in real-time, they only send the thumbnail immediately, and store the video locally on a MicroSD Card. As bandwidth is available, or when you want to watch it, video is uploaded. This Bandwidth Shaping™ lets VIAAS cameras run on remarkably little bandwidth. So you don't have to upgrade your broadband connection even if you have multiple VIAAS cameras.

VIAAS cameras help guard your privacy. Everything recorded on the camera is fully encrypted, and it remains encrypted at all times - on the SD Card, on the internet, and in storage.

VIAAS Camera One

The swoopy lines of VIAAS Camera One wrap a professional grade imaging system. The technical details below may be meaningless to you, but the important parts are straightforward. Power over Ethernet means you only have to run a single cable to the camera and you can mount the camera hundreds of feet from a power outlet. High dynamic range and good low light performance means the camera will produce usable images no matter what you point it at. Custom tuned h.264 compression means the video looks great. And the included 4x zoom lens and mount work for almost any situation.

• True Ultra Wide Dynamic Range provides up to 110db of dynamic range so you see what is going on in shadows AND sunlight at the same time. You get great pictures in almost any lighting situation.
• 4.7 V/Lux second sensitivity and Night Mode with extended exposure times provide excellent low light performance right out of the box.
