How VIAAS Works

VIAAS is an online service for video monitoring. All of your video is available by simply logging into the service at viaas.com. The service runs in the Internet "Cloud" not on systems in your back office, providing the proven benefits of the "as a service" model - simplified installation, lower up front cost, higher reliability, improved features, and lower maintenance.

VIAAS cameras automatically connect to the VIAAS service over your broadband connection. The outbound connection is extremely secure and requires zero configuration in almost any network - just plug a VIAAS camera in and it works.

When you log into VIAAS, you are connecting to the VIAAS Cloud, not directly to your camera or your network. Even when you stream live video, the data is flowing through the Cloud. Because VIAAS does not require access to your network, VIAAS does not have the security issues made famous by web cam sites. You do not create any new security risks in your network when you install VIAAS, and you don't have to modify complex network and firewall settings to get remote access. VIAAS manages security and access in the cloud, independent of your network.
